New Features
Warehouse Layout Update
This release includes a major update to the warehouse layout configuration. The warehouse layout interface has been redesigned to make it easier and more flexible to set up your warehouse in PeakWMS. The core functionality of warehouse setup, such as creating areas, locations, and similar elements, remains unchanged.
Choose Your Own Grid Size
As part of the warehouse layout update, you can now adjust the size of the grid used to display your locations. This allows you to decide how precisely shelves and locations can be positioned within your warehouse.
To change the grid size, click the icon shown below. By default, the grid size is set to 1, matching the layout shown in the example image. If you need a smaller grid size, you can enter decimal values in the pop-up window.
Improved Shelf/Location Placement Indicator
You now get a clearer indication of whether a shelf or location can be placed in your desired position.
If you try to place a shelf or location on top of another location, PeakWMS will show the available placement area. Valid placement positions are highlighted in green.
If you still attempt to place a shelf or location on top of another shelf or location, PeakWMS will automatically place it in the highlighted green area when you release it.
Bulk Move Locations
You can now select and move multiple shelves or locations in your warehouse layout at the same time.
Select locations by dragging your mouse across them.
Once selected, the locations will be highlighted with a blue border to indicate the selection.
You can then drag all selected shelves or locations to a new position in the warehouse, eliminating the need to move them one by one.
Copy Locations
Right-click your selected locations to open a menu. From here, choose "Duplicate Selection" and select where you want the locations to be duplicated. The locations will then be copied to the chosen area.
The copied locations will be placed in the nearest available position within the selected area, based on your chosen placement option.
Rotate Locations
Right-click your selected locations and choose "Rotate" to rotate them.
Please note that there must be enough available space in the warehouse to rotate all selected locations together. If sufficient space is not available, the locations will not be rotated.
Screen Configuration: Optional Item Information Display During Load Carrier Moves
We have made it possible to customize which information is displayed when moving a load carrier (such as a pallet or box) in the warehouse worker app.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, the item information displayed during load carrier moves was fixed. Now you can configure your Material Card to show exactly the fields that are important for your workflow, such as EAN numbers, product names, or specific inventory information.
This makes it easier and faster to identify the correct items during the move and provides a more consistent experience across the system, where many other views are already configurable.
You can configure a Material Card (screen setup) under Settings > Screen Configuration.
Stock Transfer: Improved Handling of Short Picks During Warehouse Transfers
We have made it easier and more consistent to handle situations where not all items can be found during a stock transfer.
What does this mean for you?
When picking for a stock transfer and entering a quantity lower than expected, you will now see the same options menu that is available during regular picking.
You can choose between:
- Short Pick: Select this if the item is not available at the location. PeakWMS will automatically attempt to find the item elsewhere in the warehouse so it can be picked from another location instead. If the item is not available anywhere else, it will be marked as short picked, allowing the transfer picking process to continue afterwards.
- Partial Pick: Select this if you only want to pick part of the required quantity now and leave the remaining quantity for later.
No More "Locked" Inventory
We have also fixed an issue where inventory could become effectively "locked" if a quantity of 0 was entered during a stock transfer.
Previously, the item could end up in an inconsistent state where it was neither transferred nor available for other picking operations. Reservations will now be released correctly, making the inventory immediately available again.
If the item is short picked during the transfer, the inventory will be removed from stock in the same way as a normal short pick.
Reports: New Overview of Total Warehouse Performance Over Time
We have introduced a new statistics chart type called "Total Performance", providing an overview of your warehouse team's combined performance.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, you could compare individual employees. Now you can view the warehouse's total output as a single combined performance metric.
This makes it easier to identify trends, evaluate busy periods, and measure the impact of process changes across the entire warehouse. Performance per employee remains available as before.
What You Get with the New Feature
- Choose your process: Create graphs for Goods Receipt, Replenishment, Picking, and Packing. If you select Picking, you can also choose which picking process to analyze.
- Flexible display options: View either total output (such as total picked order lines) or averages per effective working hour.
- Custom time intervals: Analyze performance by hour, day, week, or month to focus on the level of detail that matters most to you.
- Personalized styling: Choose your own chart color to match your dashboard.
- Smarter calculations: When calculating averages, the system automatically excludes break periods (based on your inactivity settings), just as it does for employee statistics.
Order Management: Stop Resend Orders with "Cancel Resend"
We have made it possible to stop a resend order if it is no longer relevant or has become blocked due to insufficient stock.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, an order could become caught in an endless resend loop after using the "Resend" function.
For example, if an item was out of stock, the system would continue trying to resend the order every time new inventory became available, without any simple way to stop the process.
This has now changed:
- New "Cancel Resend" button: You can stop a scheduled resend order directly from the order overview. When selected, PeakWMS removes the reservation and stops any future resend attempts for the affected items.
- Cleans up active picking tasks: If a worker has already started picking the resend order but has not yet shipped it, the pick order will be cancelled and the inventory will automatically be made available again. The items must then be manually moved from the load carrier back to a pick location.
- Stops the loop when deleting: If you manually delete a pick order marked as "Resend", PeakWMS will now interpret this as a request to stop the resend process completely, preventing it from being recreated the next day.
- Full control: Regular pick orders that are short picked or fail will still be resent exactly as before. Only manually created "Resend" requests can now be explicitly cancelled.
Other Updates
Rules Engine: Multiple Values and Smarter Conditions
We have significantly improved the rules engine, making it easier and more intuitive to configure rules for both picking groups and order release processes.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, you often had to create multiple similar rules if, for example, you wanted a rule to apply to ten different product groups. Now, you can handle everything within a single rule.
What's new:
- New operators: "In" and "Not In"
You can now select multiple values in a single rule (such as countries, product groups, or locations). This saves time and provides a much clearer overview of your rules. - Less clutter
By combining multiple criteria into one rule, you no longer need long lists of nearly identical rules, making your warehouse configuration easier to maintain.
This update makes managing how orders and picking operations are handled both faster and more reliable.
Reports: Improved Overview in the Duplicate Barcodes Report
We have enhanced the Duplicate Barcodes report, making it much easier to identify which goods owner and integrations are associated with affected products.
What does this mean for you?
For 3PL warehouses, two new columns are now available:
- Goods Owner Name
Instead of only showing an ID, the report now displays the name of the goods owner associated with the product. - Integration Name
You can now see the name of the webshop or ERP system (such as Shopify or e-conomic) connected to the duplicate barcodes. If products originate from multiple integrations, all relevant integrations will be listed.
This makes it much easier to resolve duplicate barcode issues without having to investigate which goods owner or webshop the products belong to.
Purchase Demand: More Accurate Forecasting Based on the Most Recent Year's Sales
We have improved the purchase demand calculation to provide a significantly more accurate view of actual sales trends and future inventory needs.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, quarterly sales calculations could, in some cases, combine figures from multiple years (for example, Q1 from both 2023 and 2024). This could result in misleading forecasts, especially for products whose popularity has changed over time.
What's improved:
- More accurate forecasts based on current sales trends rather than multi-year historical averages.
- Improved inventory management by reducing the risk of overordering products that were popular in previous years but are less relevant today.
- Better handling of seasonal products by considering only the most recent year's seasonal sales patterns.
This provides a stronger foundation for purchasing decisions and helps balance inventory investment with product availability.
Products: New and Improved Design for "Fetch Products"
We have redesigned the Fetch Products page to provide a more user-friendly and modern experience.
What does this mean for you?
When manually importing products from your webshop or ERP system into PeakWMS, you will now benefit from:

Products: Improved Visibility of Inventory Events
We have improved the display of product-related events and relationships, making it much easier to locate relevant information.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, users often had to scroll horizontally to view links such as inventory events because of long text entries elsewhere in the grid.
What has changed:
- Easier access
Links to inventory events, such as inventory adjustments, are now shorter and immediately visible. - Dedicated tab for system messages
Links to external system messages (host messages) have been moved to a separate tab, creating a cleaner and more organized inventory overview.
Purchasing: Visibility of Over-Receipt Settings on Purchase Orders
We have added the "Allow Over-Receipt" field to the purchase order overview in the administration interface.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, it was not possible to see directly from the overview whether a purchase order allowed receiving more items than originally ordered.
The field is now available in the overview, enabling you to sort and filter purchase orders based on this setting.
Note: The column must be added via table settings within the Purchase Order dialog.
Orders: Display Number of Shipping Units on Packing Slips
You can now display the exact number of packages, pallets, or handling units directly on packing slips.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, it was not always clear how many physical units were included in a shipment.
Now you can display this information alongside other order details such as the order number and reference.
Key features:
- Optional functionality
Configure the desired label (for example, "Number of Packages" or "Number of Pallets") in your packing slip settings. If left blank, the field will not be displayed. - Automatic counting
- Standard shipments: number of packages.
- B2B packing: number of pallets/handling units.
- Multi-package shipments: total number of packages.
- Language-specific translations
Configure different labels per country, just like other packing slip translations in PeakWMS.
Important: To display the field on Danish shipments, you must create a packing slip configuration for Denmark (DK). If no packing slip configuration exists, the field will not be displayed by default.
Import: Bulk Update Shelf-Life Management via Excel Import
You can now enable or disable Best Before Date (BBD) management through the product Excel import process.
What does this mean for you?
If you manage many products requiring shelf-life tracking, you can now update this setting for large numbers of products at once without manually editing each individual item.
What's new:
- New import field: BestBeforeDateControlled
- Supports both numeric values (1 / 0) and text values (true / false)
- New products can be configured as shelf-life controlled directly during import
This makes setup and maintenance faster and more efficient.
Packing: Faster B2B Packing with Automatic Weight and Dimensions
We have streamlined B2B packing for orders shipped as a single handling unit, such as a pallet or box.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, weight and dimensions always had to be entered manually, even for single-unit shipments.
Now PeakWMS automatically fills in this information.
Key improvements:
- Automatic retrieval of dimensions from the selected load carrier.
- Automatic weight calculation based on load carrier tare weight plus product weight.
- Calculated weight displayed directly in the packing overview.
- Automatic calculation is disabled when multiple packages are added, allowing manual entry as usual.
- New Back button on the dimensions screen for easier navigation.
Orders: Packing Slips with Best Before Dates and Batch Numbers
You can now ensure that Best Before Dates (BBD), batch/lot numbers, and serial numbers are included on your packing slips.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, packing slips were often generated at the same time as shipping labels. If this occurred before picking, the system did not yet know which specific lot or batch would be picked.
What's new:
- Packing slips can now be generated after picking is completed, ensuring accurate traceability information is included.
- The feature can be enabled for an entire account or per goods owner (3PL).
- PeakWMS only delays packing slip generation when traceability-controlled products are present.
- Shipping labels continue to be generated at the normal stage of the process.
The setting can be enabled under: Settings > Orders > Order Management
The information will be displayed on the packing slip as shown in the example image below.
Shipping Configuration
Save Money on Shipping with Cargoflux "Best Price"
We have added a new intelligent feature to our Cargoflux integration that automatically selects the cheapest shipping solution for you.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, you had to choose a specific shipping product (for example, "Bring - PickUp") when creating shipments through Cargoflux.
With the new Best Price feature, you can leave the decision to Cargoflux. The service will automatically find the lowest available shipping price among all your configured carriers for each individual shipment.
What's new:
- New option: Best Price
When configuring shipping products in PeakWMS, you will now find Best Price at the bottom of the list of Cargoflux shipping methods. - Always available
The Best Price option remains visible even if your Cargoflux account currently does not display any specific shipping products. - Fully automated
When packing and shipping an order using Best Price, PeakWMS instructs Cargoflux to book the cheapest available service. You receive your shipping label exactly as usual, just at the best available price. - Maintain full control
You can still choose specific shipping products if you prefer particular carriers for certain order types. Existing shipping methods continue to work exactly as before.
ERP Integrations
e-conomic: Automatic Invoice Email Delivery
We have improved the e-conomic integration to make invoice automation even easier and ensure customers receive their invoices.
What does this mean for you?
If your e-conomic integration is configured to automatically post and send invoices, PeakWMS will now instruct e-conomic to send the invoice directly to the customer by email, even when no dedicated invoice email address has been specified in PeakWMS.
Previously, invoices might not have been sent if the email field was empty. We now utilize new functionality in e-conomic that allows the system to determine the correct recipient automatically.
This provides a more reliable automated invoicing process and reduces the need for manual follow-up.
Business Central: Correct Receipt of Multiple Purchase Orders on a Single Delivery
We have fixed an issue in our Business Central integration affecting inbound deliveries containing multiple purchase orders.
What does this mean for you?
Previously, only the first purchase order associated with an inbound delivery could be marked as received in Business Central. Additional purchase orders were skipped, causing inventory discrepancies between PeakWMS and your ERP system.
PeakWMS now processes each purchase order independently.
When a delivery is completed, all associated purchase orders are correctly updated in Business Central, helping ensure inventory accuracy across both systems.
Uniconta: Automatic Customs Data Synchronization
PeakWMS can now automatically retrieve customs information directly from products in Uniconta.
What does this mean for you?
If you use Uniconta, you no longer need to manually maintain country of origin and tariff information in PeakWMS.
What's new:
- Automatic synchronization
Whenever a product is created or updated in Uniconta, PeakWMS automatically retrieves the country of origin and tariff number. - Automatic tariff code creation
If a tariff code does not already exist in PeakWMS, it is created automatically. - Variant support

Inventory Difference Report
We have introduced a new report that helps identify discrepancies between PeakWMS and your ERP system.
What does this mean for you?
Each time your ERP system sends inventory data to PeakWMS, a report is automatically generated comparing ERP inventory figures with a real-time inventory snapshot from PeakWMS.
Only products with differences are displayed, making discrepancies easy to identify.
What you can do with the report:
- Identify discrepancies immediately
See exactly which products differ, including products known by the ERP system but not found in PeakWMS. - Start counts directly from the report
Launch inventory counts directly from the report and choose whether to count all locations or pick locations only. - Track progress
Products already included in inventory counts are automatically marked.
Reports are retained for 30 days, providing ample time for investigation and follow-up.
AutoStore
Improved Management of Automated Warehouse Orders
We have optimized how PeakWMS handles orders already sent to AutoStore.
What does this mean for you?
Picking groups may change throughout the day due to scheduling or operational planning. Previously, orders already accepted by AutoStore could become associated with inactive picking groups.
What's improved:
- Orders are automatically re-evaluated and moved to the most appropriate active picking group when necessary.
- Orders accepted by automation will never be incorrectly reassigned to manual picking.
- Orders already being picked manually are never affected.
Improved Transfer of Comments to AutoStore
We have fixed an issue where AutoStore order transfers could fail because of emojis or excessively long customer comments.
What does this mean for you?
Customer comments are now automatically:
- Cleansed of unsupported emojis and special characters.
- Limited to AutoStore's 100-character maximum.
This ensures orders are transferred successfully without manual intervention.
Accurate Recording of Inventory Adjustment Reasons from AutoStore
We have fixed an issue where inventory adjustments performed in AutoStore were always recorded as standard inventory counts in PeakWMS.
What does this mean for you?

If an order has not yet been picked, PeakWMS will automatically return it to Created status and release it again when the new release date is reached.
Faster and Smarter Inventory Event Retrieval
Integrations can now retrieve inventory events for a specific product through the API.
What does this mean for you?
Instead of retrieving all inventory events for a time period, integrations can now request data for a specific SKU.

Instead of configuring carrier-specific shipping products, PeakWMS can act as a direct connection between your warehouse and external shipping platform.

Requires only a connection key and a small number of endpoint URLs. - Complete workflow support
Supports shipping labels, return labels, shipment cancellation, and tracking data. - Dangerous goods (ADR) support
If supported by your shipping platform, PeakWMS can automatically retrieve and print transport documents and warning labels for dangerous goods. - No warehouse workflow changes
Warehouse employees continue working exactly as before. Orders are packed normally, and labels are automatically generated and printed.
Bug Fixes
Orders: Improved Stability of Shipping Label Creation During Order Release
We have fixed an issue that could occasionally cause orders to become stuck with a "shipping label error" when released for picking. The issue primarily affected webshops using shipping integrations that generate labels immediately upon order release.
Previously, a temporary database interruption could cause an order to be placed on hold, even though the shipping label had already been successfully created by the carrier. If the order was manually released again, PeakWMS would generate a new label, potentially resulting in duplicate shipping charges for the same package.
Returns: Improved Handling of Replacement Items
We have fixed an issue that could occur when customers requested replacement items as part of a return process.
Previously, replacement items might not be released for picking if information about the replacement product arrived in PeakWMS after the return case had already been created.
PeakWMS now ensures replacement items are always handled correctly, regardless of whether the replacement item or the return request is registered first. The system will either release the replacement item immediately or place it on hold (if your setup requires the returned item to be received first), ensuring customers receive their replacements as expected.
This applies even if the original order has already been packed or shipped.
POS: Correct Handling of Shopify POS Orders
We have fixed an issue where Shopify POS orders (sales completed in a physical store) could sometimes be imported as normal warehouse orders requiring picking and shipping.
When an item is sold through Shopify POS, it has already been handed over to the customer and should only reduce inventory levels.
PeakWMS now consistently recognizes Shopify POS sales and excludes them from warehouse picking workflows, ensuring warehouse staff do not accidentally pick and ship products that customers have already taken home.
Purchasing: Stable Sorting Across Pages
We have fixed an issue that could cause sorting to behave inconsistently in certain overviews, such as Purchase Demand, when navigating between pages.
Previously, products could appear on different pages or change position when sorting by values shared by multiple products.
Sorting is now fully consistent. Products remain in the same position unless filters or sorting criteria are changed.
This improvement also applies to exported data.
Resend Orders: Correct Inventory Status
We have fixed an issue that could display incorrect inventory availability when resending items from older orders whose picking history had been archived.
Previously, both the original shipment and the resend shipment could be counted as reserved inventory, resulting in artificially reduced available stock levels.
PeakWMS now correctly calculates reservations. Only quantities that still need to be shipped are considered reserved, regardless of whether the original picking history has been archived.
This ensures accurate inventory, purchasing, and returns data.
Locations: Improved Handling When Deleting Workstations
We have improved data integrity when deleting workstations, such as packing stations and replenishment stations.
Previously, deleting a workstation could leave behind orphaned locations that were no longer associated with a warehouse.

We have improved validation when manually completing orders.
If an order contains a parked pick task (for example, due to missing inventory), the order can no longer be manually completed until the parked task has been resolved.
Previously, orders could be marked as completed while still appearing in the list of parked tasks requiring action.
Users now receive a clear error message instructing them to complete or reset the parked task before closing the order.
This ensures dashboards and task lists always reflect the actual warehouse workload.
POS: Shipping Labels for Orders Without Billing Addresses
We have fixed an issue that prevented certain orders from being packed if they were missing a billing address.
The issue only affected POS orders (excluding Shopify POS) using Webshipper shipping methods.
PeakWMS can now successfully generate shipping labels as long as a valid delivery address exists.
Orders: Automatic Cleanup of Alarms on Cancelled Orders
We have fixed an issue where order alarms, such as Missing Shipping Information, remained visible even after an order had been cancelled.
Previously, cancelled orders could clutter alarm dashboards because their alerts were never automatically removed.
PeakWMS now removes all relevant alarms immediately when an order is cancelled, whether cancellation originates from a webshop or is performed manually.
Note: Payment-related alarms are still retained to ensure financial follow-up remains visible.
3PL: Removal of Faulty Bulk Edit Functionality for Goods Owners
We have removed the Bulk Edit option from the Goods Owner overview because the functionality was not operating correctly and generated system errors.
Goods owners can still be created, edited, and deleted individually as before.
All other 3PL functionality remains unaffected.

We have introduced a safeguard preventing products from different goods owners from being combined in:
- Bundles
- Assortments

This prevents situations where inventory belonging to one customer could mistakenly be allocated to another customer’s orders.
Dashboard: Counters Now Match Overview Results
Dashboard counters have been updated to ensure they always display the exact same counts as the overview screens they link to.
This resolves discrepancies that could occur when using advanced filters, search wildcards, or date ranges.
Purchasing: Improved Feedback During Purchase Order Excel Imports
We have improved import result reporting for purchase order Excel imports.
Previously, empty rows or total rows included in supplier spreadsheets could trigger misleading messages indicating no changes had been imported, even when valid data had been imported successfully.

We have fixed an issue where desired delivery dates and planned release dates were not always updated correctly when a full order update was received from an external system.

You can now delete carrier types, shipping methods, and other configuration items even if they were previously used on archived orders.
